In the latest JUVE Tax Market Ranking 2026/27, Kantenwein • Spatscheck • Widmayer • van Bevern & Partner has once again been awarded five stars in the field of criminal tax law.

For us, this rating confirms one thing above all: criminal tax law can rarely be viewed in isolation. Alongside our work in defending individuals and companies, JUVE particularly highlights our team’s experience in tax litigation. At the same time, the rating demonstrates the breadth of our work in criminal tax law – ranging from voluntary disclosures and preventative advice to internal investigations.

We are also particularly delighted about the personal recognition for our partner Dr Rainer Spatscheck: JUVE counts him amongst the “leading names in criminal tax law”. In the assessment, he is described as ‘highly competent in legal theory, a pleasant colleague and a brilliant negotiator’.
