We are delighted that our colleague Dr Lucas Reuter has successfully completed his specialist training in tax law.

With the certificate issued by the Munich Bar Association, he is now entitled to use the title ‘Specialist Lawyer in Tax Law’.

Lucas joined our partner Dr Rainer Spatscheck’s team as a solicitor in August 2023 and specialises in tax and commercial criminal law, tax litigation and tax dispute proceedings.

Following his appointment as a tax adviser earlier this year, the title of specialist lawyer is already his second additional qualification in 2026. As a lawyer, tax adviser, specialist lawyer in tax law and holder of a Diploma in Public Finance (FH), he thus combines both the legal and tax perspectives in one person.

With this additional qualification, he is consistently expanding his professional profile – whilst at the same time strengthening our advisory services at the interface between tax law and criminal tax law.

Dr Lucas Reuter: ‘Tax law has been a part of my life since my time in the tax administration. For me, the title of specialist lawyer is the logical continuation of this path – it combines my practical experience from both perspectives, that of the administration and that of consultancy.’
