To mark the beginning of the new decade, another Salary Partner has joined our ranks: Dr. Carolin Sabel. She has been working for our firm as an attorney in the area of commercial dispute resolution since 2017. Her work focuses on civil and tax law liability issues in connection with the well-known CumEx topic as well as litigation issues in the area of private international law and corporate and insolvency law, in which she holds a PhD. Before joining Kantenwein, Dr. Sabel worked for the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs as an energy law consultant and for five years in the Corporate/M&A department of a major international law firm in Hamburg.

Dr. Sabel laid the academic foundation for her legal career with her studies of law at the University of Regensburg and the Université Paris X. She received her doctorate in 2014 with a comparative law thesis on international insolvency law. You can find Dr. Sabel's profile here.
